Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. He gained fame due to his role as a character in Road Trip he has since played in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 television series such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. As a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma that he was diagnosed when he was 14 years old. Qualls is an avid fighter. The cancer had gone into remission within two years. Being treated at such a young stage had a negative effect on his body. This impeded his growth. As he got older, financial security seemed to be his ultimate goal as his experience with poverty had been a part of his early years. He said, "I've been living so cheap for so many years that I'm in need of financial security otherwise the world can seem out of control and that's not good for me." The man also recalls his youth to inspire him. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. The ideal character for him in films and in his life is that of father. However, he acknowledges that directors don't choose me for those roles. One day he'd like to become a father and have the ability to dedicate much less time and energy to his profession and more to his child.
